dude you think that's good...
I have the actors in my living room with a fleet of manufacturing engineers making the action come alive around me.
IT'S THE FUTURE!
no xbox 360 owner who plays more than one genre of games has had to wait 9 months for a good exclusive either. Not that it matters with high quality multi plats coming out so frequently now.
If you'd take either exclusive lineup over the multi-plat lineup last year, you'd be a fool.
have you looked at any of the halo games next to each other?
they all look pretty different from each other. Halo 2 looked way better than CE in almost every respect. Character models in H3 weren't a huge leap, but the environments looked way better than in H2.
And CE wasn't really a huge leap over anything at the time.
That said, we've known the campaign was shorter than H3 since it was announced.
you were imagining things.
blu-ray sales are increasing at a higher rate, while DVD sales are decressing, but DVD sales still far and away trump blu-ray sales by more than 10:1.
BluRay had $230 million in sales, DVD had $2.89 BILLION in sales, and digital distribution had $487 million in sales in Q1 of 2009.

the industry wanted something else.
I don't know why anyone would expect them to make changes that deep in the engine for ODST. Reach is the game where I'd look for actual engine changes.
they could also reach out to smaller manufacturers like Asus, fujitsu, or acer.
Microsoft doesn't really need to sell their own products, they just have to use their stores to show the benefits of PCs vs macs. If they just had a product (not necessarily their own) that was PC supported and matched most apple devices feature for feature, but cost 75% the price, the stores would be pretty successful.
there's xbox 360 fans in here somewhere?
maybe they're hiding behind the people praising this "well written" not-a-forum-post forum post that's "finally saying something good about sony"?
they're using the royal plural.
the PS3 doesn't even have that many sold yet, let alone in march.
and lol @ "THIS IS NOT A FORUM POST" if you don't want your blog to look like a forum post, post it in a blog, not on a forum.
this is both old and horrible.
yeaaaaaaa... have fun with that.
what? have you gone to buy a cellphone lately? more than 50% of the smart phones have windows mobile on them. A lot of business people like windows mobile phones because they can get to a lot of stuff they'd only see at their PC.
Not to say it's their most dominant market or that there aren't competitors, but they are by no means really "losing" the phone market.
1-2 years ago would have been a better time for this article tbh.
if you think of it as just a trophy, it still retails comparably with other higher up collectors editions. I'd never use it, but I'm considering buying it just to have on the shelf. It's a pretty sweet showpiece for a collection.
I really wish more games released a collectors edition with more significant collectibles than maps, art booklets, and different colored cases.
I don't by any means think their good, but the size of the hole has no bearing on how good night vision goggles are. They look more like they have to do with infrared tech because you can see all the infrared leds around the sensor.
They won't be great, but price depending, they are one of the better collector's editions perks in a good while.
Activision does not need Sony as much as Sony needs activision. If activision left, they would still sell lots of games, and sony would lose a lot of games. Activision has 12 games coming out for the PS3 before the end of the year. Most of them are multiplatform, but it would be a huge blow for the opposition to suddenly gain 20 exclusives every year. Then sony also loses all the licensing fees from activision too.
Activision would lose sales, but they'd also lose costs.
...
Glad to see none of you find the fact that, instead of trying their best to keep the largest video game publisher happy, Sony pretty much bad mouthed their CEO. That is why this article was sparked (IF YOU READ IT).
and @"My point is: It's ALWAYS a Sony article bashing Sony and its PR guys, where's the damn balance?"
No. No it is not. On the front page right now there are 4-5 articles that have anything to do with M$ or nintendo. One of those is talking abo...
I think what he meant was that those features are done on board the natal device rather than on the console running it.
the tech in natal has been around for a good while. I don't think they should rush it, but it's not because of the technical abilities of the device. Moreso because of the software support.
People actually think microsoft is close to a monopoly in search?
Microsoft could buy every search engine except google and still only have a third of the marketshare.
